1. Acceptance
By accessing octogolazo.com or using the Octogolazo mobile application, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Octogolazo. You also agree to our Privacy Policy.
2. What Octogolazo is (and isn't)
Octogolazo is a social prediction game built around live football matches. Users predict events (match winner, next goal, MOTM, tournament long-bets) and earn points compared with friends. Predictions are scored using a published rubric.
Octogolazo is not a betting product. No money changes hands, no real-money stakes are placed, and points have no cash value. We don't operate as a sportsbook, fantasy operator, or financial service.
Octogolazo is not affiliated with FIFA, any national football federation, or the FIFA World Cup 2026 organizers. Match data is sourced from API-Football (api-sports.io).
3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to use Octogolazo.
•
You may use Octogolazo anonymously. Claiming a persistent account requires a valid email or phone number that you control.
•
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
4. Account responsibilities
•
You are responsible for all activity on your account.
•
One person per account. No automated agents, bots, or scripts making predictions on your behalf.
•
No multi-accounting to gain leaderboard or rubric-experiment advantage. Detected duplicate accounts may be merged or terminated at our discretion.
•
Squad / room names, reactions, and any other user-supplied content must not be hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or unlawful. We may remove content and terminate accounts that violate this.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source from the Octogolazo client beyond what local law explicitly permits.
•
Probe, scan, or otherwise attempt to discover vulnerabilities in the service. If you find one, please report it to [email protected] — responsible disclosure is welcome. •
Use the service to send spam, harass other users, or interfere with anyone else's use of Octogolazo.
•
Scrape or otherwise systematically extract data from Octogolazo beyond the rate limits in our public APIs (when published).
6. Intellectual property
The Octogolazo brand, logo, design, and the underlying code are owned by us. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Octogolazo for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Content you create on Octogolazo (predictions, reactions, squad names, profile data) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it solely to operate and improve the service.
Shareable Stamps include Octogolazo branding. Sharing them on social platforms is encouraged; modifying them to remove the Octogolazo mark is not allowed.
7. Service availability
Octogolazo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep the service reliable, especially during live matches, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability.
Match data accuracy depends on our upstream provider (API-Football). If a score, event, or final result is corrected upstream after our pipeline ingests it, we will re-resolve affected predictions where feasible (see the scoring rubric for VAR overturn handling).
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice, especially during the World Cup window where rapid iteration is expected.
8. Termination
You may stop using Octogolazo at any time. Delete your account by emailing [email protected], or simply clear local storage on the web client. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, infringe rights of others, or use Octogolazo in a way that could harm the service or other users.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Octogolazo is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Octogolazo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. This limitation does not apply to gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Turkish law (placeholder — to be confirmed by counsel based on the operating entity). Disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be resolved in the competent courts of Istanbul, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you the right to bring the dispute in your own jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified in-app and (where you've claimed an account) by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
